This year #GivingTuesday falls on November 28th. In celebration, Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are partnering to support nonprofits.

Donations to nonprofits made through Facebook’s charitable giving tools on November 28th will be matched up to $50,000 per nonprofit or $1,000 per fundraiser or donate button. Facebook is also waiving its fees for donations made on #GivingTuesday. The match will begin at 8AM EST (5AM PST).

There are 3 ways you can help the Tyler Clementi Foundation take advantage of this incredible opportunity to double your donation.

1. Create a fundraiser for the Tyler Clementi Foundation:
• Visit Facebook.com/fundraisers
• Click “Raise Money” and then “Get Started”
• Click “Nonprofit” and then search for “Tyler Clementi Foundation”
• Set your goal and then invite your friends to donate
2. Add a donate button to a Facebook post or live video about why you are supporting the Tyler Clementi Foundation:

Help us celebrate a fantastic year of changing hearts and minds at the 4th Annual Upstander Legacy Celebration on Monday, Nov. 16th! We have selected a beautiful location, NYC’s Studio 450 overlooking the Highline, to honor people who are working every day to end online and offline bullying. Sponsors and members of the Host Committee are invited to join us for a special toast that evening at 6 pm, as we gather to celebrate the groups and individuals who, like the Tyler Clementi Foundation, are dedicated to creating safe spaces for our youth and for each other. Stay tuned as we announce our honorees, musical guest, and much more! We would love for you to join us this evening as a host, a sponsor or guest.

The event will be MC’d by the ever entertaining Witti Repartee. There will be a Silent Auction and raffles for prizes that include gift certificates for a variety of items including hotels, spa’s and resorts at the Jersey Shore, dinners, tickets to the NYCGMC, and The Count Basie Theatre Christmas Spectacular live entertainment and much more!
