Stand Up to End Bullying On #GivingTuesday, November 28

Giving Tuesday on November 28, 2017 [tminus t=”28-11-2017 13:29:59″ id=”giving-tuesday” style=”TIE-fighter” after=”…until Giving Tuesday.”] DONATE NOW and get TWICE the impact![/tminus]

Join us on this global giving day to support our work to prevent online and offline bullying across the country!

This year #GivingTuesday falls on November 28th. In celebration, Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are partnering to support nonprofits.

Donations to nonprofits made through Facebook’s charitable giving tools on November 28th will be matched up to $50,000 per nonprofit or $1,000 per fundraiser or donate button. Facebook is also waiving its fees for donations made on #GivingTuesday. The match will begin at 8AM EST (5AM PST).

There are 3 ways you can help the Tyler Clementi Foundation take advantage of this incredible opportunity to double your donation.

  1. Create a fundraiser for the Tyler Clementi Foundation:
    • Visit Facebook.com/fundraisers
    • Click “Raise Money” and then “Get Started”
    • Click “Nonprofit” and then search for “Tyler Clementi Foundation”
    • Set your goal and then invite your friends to donate
  2. Add a donate button to a Facebook post or live video about why you are supporting the Tyler Clementi Foundation:
    • Write your Post and tag the Tyler Clementi Foundation in it. You’ll then see a prompt to add a donate button after you post.
    • Go Live: Tap “Live” at the top of your News Feed on mobile, and click “Add Donate Button” from the menu.
  3. You can also visit the Tyler Clementi Foundation Facebook page to donate directly.

Your gift can help raise $100,000 for the Tyler Clementi Foundation!

Not a Facebook user? You can still support us on #GivingTuesday by making a gift directly to the Tyler Clementi Foundation on our website here.

Come in out of the sun for a cocktail to help end bullying!

Fundraiser for Tyler Clementi Foundation

In 2010, Tyler Clementi took his own life shortly after being humiliated online by his college roommate. I remember where I was when I first heard his story. Spurred on by this avoidable tragedy and a desire to protect others from feeling bullied and harassed, I am delighted to share that I have joined the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Clementi Foundation.

Please join me for an informal discussion about the Tyler Clementi Foundation’s bullying-prevention initiatives and successes in creating safe spaces for all over cocktails and light bites at our home in the Pines!

July 2, 2017
Noon to 3pm
at 144 Ocean Walk on Fire Island

Please RSVP using the form below by June 30.

Whether or not you are able to attend, please consider supporting this national and impactful organization below.

The Tyler Clementi Foundation works to end bullying in schools, workplaces and faith communities. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Thank you for your support,
